Greetings, Corgi Enthusiasts! I am Laura Shaver, a passionate hobby breeder of AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgis, nestled in the picturesque region of Northern California. My journey with these incredible dogs began in 1997, and since 2011, I have been dedicated to breeding and raising corgi puppies with upmost care and attention. At my home, I welcome two to three litters each year, ensuring every puppy is raised in a loving and nurturing environment. My esteemed corgi family includes Teddy, Elle, Buttercup, and Zuko, all of whom are integral to our home. I am unwaveringly committed to raising well-adjusted and healthy puppies. Our breeding program ensures none of our puppies will be at risk for developing degenerative myelopathy, as Elle, Buttercup, Zuko, and Teddy are DM, EIC, Vwd1, and PRA clear.
Teddy boasts OFA Excellent hips and normal eye certification, while Elle's hips are rated Penn Hip Good with normal eye certifications. Zuko also has normal eye certifications and OFA Good hips. We are excited to pair Buttercup, whose eye certifications are normal, and hips rated OFA Good, with Zuko for a beautiful new year's litter. This pairing promises an exceptional litter with beautiful red and sable puppies. Breeding these wonderful dogs is a true labor of love. I am committed to producing healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies that embody the spirit and quality of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed. Each puppy is raised with intention, excellent structure, sound temperaments, and a strong foundation for family life. Purchasing A Puppy
The first step in our process is completing a puppy application.
Emerald Corgi puppies are $3,000 total, with a $500 non-refundable deposit required to reserve an approved application. This deposit is applied toward the total purchase price and secures your place once approved. I am proud to offer my carefully raised Corgi puppies to loving homes, where they are intended to be cherished family companions. Each puppy is placed with limited AKC registration, and we require that they be spayed or neutered at 18 months of age to support their long-term health and help preserve the integrity of the breed. Every puppy goes home with a one-year health guarantee (from date of birth) covering life-threatening congenital conditions. They receive proper veterinary care, including routine deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations, and a comprehensive health check prior to going home. In accordance with breed standards, tails are docked and dew claws are removed. As a proud member of Good Dog, I offer secure and convenient payment options through my Good Dog account. While service fees may apply, they provide added buyer protection and access to helpful puppy training resources (you may opt out of these fees if preferred). At this time, I do not have any available puppies. However, we are excited to be planning a Buttercup & Zuko litter, expected Summer 2026. A worthy half-year waiting. Laura is amazing. Quick answer all the questions, very clear about the adoption process. She posted puppies videos and photos every several days on Instagram. I choose my cutest queen on the pick-up day. She already started the potty training. The most impressive thing is that she loves her crate on the first day come home. Just after two days, she can sleep in the crate through the night. I will definitely recommend Emerald Corgis for who would like to have a healthy, cute and smart Corgi.

Laura was so helpful through the entire process! She posted updates of the puppies and provided a lot of information so we could be ready to bring home our new puppy. We are experienced dog owners, but this was our first time getting a puppy from a breeder. Laura answered all our questions and provided us with updates in a timely manner.
